About Us
Yan Wang: Founder, CEO, and CTO of BaseCamp; CTO of Zenosic Inc., a high-bandwidth switch ASIC company. A founding technology leader at Barefoot Networks, later acquired by Intel, where she helped pioneer programmable switching. Previously held senior architecture roles at Broadcom in CPU MMU, virtualization, and inter-chip connectivity. Deep expertise across compute, memory systems, networking, and system architecture.
Steven Wang:
Founder and Chief AI Officer of BaseCamp, leading AI software, model, and infrastructure strategy.
Previously a founding engineer and Chief AI Officer at Panyi, a RISC-V core-based AI accelerator startup. Experience spans MIMD SoC platforms, cloud AI infrastructure, TensorFlow/PyTorch customization on XPUs, and CUDA utilization optimization. Spent 15+ years at Intel across CPU, cloud AI platforms, and application software
R&D team:
A lean, execution-focused team with deep cross-domain experience across software, hardware, and systems.
Team backgrounds include leading companies across cloud infrastructure, networking, semiconductors, AI infrastructure, ASIC design, and production firmware/software

Mission
BaseCamp’s mission is to eliminate the rack boundary in AI infrastructure. NICH connects accelerators and memory through one deterministic fabric with built-in reliability, resilience, and visibility—enabling continuous scale-up with fewer links, lower complexity, and higher system utilization.
Vision
Our vision is to make AI infrastructure behave as one programmable computing system, where compute and memory can be discovered, composed, and optimized around each workload. NICH provides the foundation for this future, enabling software to treat distributed hardware as a flexible resource pool rather than fixed servers and racks.
